What is New Haven Chronicles?
New Haven Chronicles, is a film based on Lunchbox Cop, an original graphic novel written by the Driftwood Publishing team. Driftwood Publishing started work on the graphic novel in 2019 and began talks with the West Century team about a live action film soon after.
West Century had been looking for their first narrative film project, so it wasn’t a hard answer after the team read the graphic novel.
Based in the fictional town of New Haven, the story follows a group of three teenagers and Lunchbox Cop, a hometown guardian. All super-type stories have their opposing villains. In New Haven Chronicles, Dr. Maverick has a plan to take over the city of New Haven and it is up to LBC to stop him.
