Script Breakdowns

Before meeting with the director, I conduct a thorough script breakdown to document all essential elements and address possible shots ideas in case the director wants to take a collaborative approve to the shot list. Additionally, I began developing initial lighting notes, which later informed the lighting diagrams I will create.

After breaking down the script with the initial lighting notes, which serve as the foundation for creating detailed lighting diagrams. I am more able to clearly communicate my vision to the gaffer ensuring we’re aligned and prepared to execute the desired look efficiently on set.
